Dan Edward Daniels, 75, of Texarkana, TX. passed away on July 19, 2019 in a Little Rock, AR. hospital. He was born November 18, 1943 in Carlisle, AR. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he received the Vietnam service medal and Chaplain medal of Vietnam and a life time member of the Masons. Also member of Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Susie and Ben Daniels; sister Bennie Sue Harness and a step daughter Rebecca Ramon.
Survived by his wife Shirley Daniels of Texarkana, TX; one daughter Angela; one sister Chris Mergenschroer (Pete) of Little Rock, AR; one brother Jim Daniels (Ann) of MO; one nephew Todd Harness (Fa) of Little Rock, AR; three nieces Stephanie Tiner (Jeff) of Austin, AR., and Karen Williams of Rogers, AR. and Kelly Harris (Earl) of Tennessee.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 22, 2019 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane followed by a family visitation in the chapel. Burial will be at a later date at the Little Rock National Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
