Colin Brewer

Colin Brewer, 61, of Texarkana, TX passed away October 10, 2013 at his home. Mr. Brewer was born October 6, 1952 in Texarkana, AR. He served in the United States Air Force from 1972 - 1974; served in Guam; was Treasurer in QDMA; and was employed with Copper Tire.

Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his father, Jack Raymond Brewer; brother, Donald Ray Brewer; and sisters, Joan Valerie Brewer and Patricia Ann Brewer.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Brewer of Texarkana, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Travis (Buddy) Ross and Melissa Chattaway of Texarkana, TX; daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita and Chris Dumas of Texarkana, TX, Traci and Will Garvin of Texarkana, TX and April and Jason Starnes of Texarkana, AR; mother, Lela Brewer of Genoa, AR; sister, Elnora Stanhouse of Midwest City, OK; brothers, Rodney Brewer of Georgia. Larry Brewer and Byron Brewer both of Genoa, AR; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service "Celebration of Life" will be 2 p.m., Sunday, October 13, 2013 at East Memorial Chapel - Moores Lane under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.

Colin's wishes were for everyone to come in casual attire.

The family will be at 1639 Myrtle Springs Rd., Texarkana, TX.
