Charles Harvey Russell

Charles (Charley) Harvey Russell, born November 27, 1939 in Buckrange, Arkansas. Charley went to be with his heavenly Father September 6, 2024 after a long illness. He spent the majority of his adult life in the truck and trailer industry and made many friends along the way. If you ever met Charley you never forgot him. He loved his friends and family and always had a story to tell.

He is survived by his wife, Gina Russell; daughter, Lisa Russell; stepdaughter, Laura Scott; Stepson, Lee Scott; granddaughter, Shelby Scott; two sisters, Dana Newberg (Donnie) and Sandra Staggs; Brother-in-law, Jay Tollett (Martha) and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Marguerite and Harvey Russell, his daughter, Michelle Russell and Brother-in-law, Charles Staggs.

He will be missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to Dierksen Hospice for caring for him in his final days.

Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with Chaplain Rufus Robinson officiating.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M. Tuesday, September 17, 2024 prior to the memorial service.
