Charlene "Charlie" Dickerson

Charlene " Charlie" Dickerson was born on April 22, 1941 in Henderson, Texas. She passed from this life into the arms of her heavenly father on April 15, 2015 in Texarkana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dickerson.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Pounders of Texarkana and Cody Pounders and daughter-in-law, Vicki of Brazoria, Texas; two sisters, Joyce and husband, Jesse Estes of Texarkana, Texas and Evelyn of College Station, Texas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Billie and Marlene Spencer of Lake Jackson, Texas, Ronnie and Cathy Spencer of Cleburne, Texas and Rusty and Sharon Spencer of Lake Jackson, Texas; and a very special and dear friend, Ann Boyd.

Charlie was the owner of Texarkana Auto Auction and a member of Red River Quilters. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and an award winning artist and quilter.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2015 at Nash First Baptist Church with services to follow at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dennis Whitmire, Rev. Tim Strebeck and Rev. Steve Shipley officiating. There will be a private burial in Clarksville, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
