Carl Jack Jones, age 89, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. He was born on February 28,1935 in Hope, AR. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from the Arkansas Dept. of Corrections and was a former school teacher. He was a member of First Light House Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include sisters-in-law Nell Jones of Hope, AR. and Bobbie Jones of El Dorado, AR. Three nephews Mike Jones and wife Polly of El Dorado, AR; Russ Jones and wife Sherry of Hope, AR and Robert Jones and wife Ann of El Dorado, AR. Plus numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 9, 2024 at Old Rondo Cemetery officiated by Revs. Josh Lee and Gary Courtney.
Family will receive friends 12:00 to 1:30 P.M. Monday, September 9, 2024 at East Funeral Home-Downtown prior to the 2:00 P.M. graveside.
