Bobby T. Rogers, 70 of Texarkana, AR passed away on Tuesday, February 12, at a local nursing home. He was born on November 15, 1948 in Springhill, LA. Mr. Rogers was retired from Domtar Paper- Ashdown and was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in Vietnam War and was a VFW life member. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his parents, P. H. and Ethel Rogers of Springhill, LA.
Survivors included daughter and son-in-law Angela and Bruce Ward of Texarkana, AR and son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Margie Rogers of Maud, TX; 6 grandchildren, Lane Ward, Samantha Ward, Coy Ward, Charles Rogers, Keilani Rogers and Benjamin Rogers; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Duane and Pat Rogers of Elgin, TX, Dorman and Bonnie Rogers of Ruston, LA and Pat ad Marie Rogers of Port Neches, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and David Beasley of Texarkana, AR and a number of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 3pm Saturday, February 16, 2019 with a Celebration of Life service at 3pm at East Memorial Chapel-Moores Lane with Pastor Ware Russell officiating.
Cremation is under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to charity of choice.
