Alice Irene Westmoreland

Alice Irene Westmoreland, 92, of Texarkana, TX passed away November 8, 2012 in a local hospital. Mrs. Westmoreland was born September 3, 1920 in Cass County, TX. She was member of Buchanan United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ennis Westmoreland; and a grandson, Kevin Polk.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Jimmy Gimlin of Texarkana, TX, Jo Ann and Bill Luscomb of Yantis, TX, Mary Polk of Sherman, TX and Linda and Jim Ward of Gladewater, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Donna Westmoreland of Gladewater, TX and Mickey and Julie Westmoreland of Genoa, AR; sister, Juliette Coleman of Fairfield, TX; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Wayne Welborn officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown,

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the funeral home.
