Adelle Cooper Hodgson

Adelle Cooper Hodgson, age 94, of Atlanta, TX, formerly of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Adelle was born July 31, 1929 in Alexandria, LA to Edward S. Cooper and Henry W. Addington Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, Herman B. Hodgson (Pete); four sisters, Sunshine, Mary, Eleanor and Estelle, one brother, Buddy, and a stepdaughter, Phyllis Jackson.

She is survived by her son, Michael Caldwell of Wake Village, TX, two grandchildren, Chad Caldwell of Queen City, TX and Hope Petrofsky (Spencer) of Atlanta, TX, five great grandchildren, Collin Petrofsky (Erin) of Jefferson, TX, Rebecca Petrofsky, Gabrielle Petrofsky, Joshua Petrofsky and Emeline Petrofsky all of Atlanta, TX and two great great grandchildren, Jadyn and Amelia Hamilton, and two step-daughters, Sheron Blackshear and Janice Saunders (Ronnie),

Services will be 10 a.m., Friday at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Oscar Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be in Rondo Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
