Suzanne (Suzie) Morgan, of Terrell, passed away December 15, 2014 in Dallas. She was born July 18, 1943 in Gray’s Prairie, Texas to Clifford and Marie Harvey, both of whom preceded her in death along with her sister, Betty Ruth Dickerson. Suzie graduated from Terrell High School in 1961 where she also played in the high school band. She worked as an insurance agent at RBH in Houston and then later on at HRH in Dallas until her health declined and she retired from the insurance industry. Always one to see the bright side of any situation, she looked at her retirement as an opportunity to spend more time with family and friends. She was very creative and was an accomplished painter. Suzie also designed stained glass and adorable baby dolls and many of her creations were given to family and friends to cherish. She also enjoyed square dancing and traveling. She traveled to many different destinations such as Louisiana, Mississippi, Alaska, Disney World, Tennessee and Yellowstone National Park to name just a few. Her favorite place to go was Shreveport where she would often travel with her husband, Howell, and they had many happy memories together. A wonderful woman with a great sense of humor, every day with Suzie was an adventure and always a good time. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and she will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Suzie is survived by her beloved husband of almost 40 years, Howell Morgan of Terrell; cherished daughter, Lori Beth Morgan of Terrell; grandchildren: Austin Moore of Terrell; Amanda Ganiko and husband, Daniel of Frisco, Payton Moore of Twenty-Nine Palms, CA; great grandchildren: Christian Ramsdell, Cameron and Landon Ganiko, Caroline Moore; sister, Kathy Wilhite; brother-in-law, Walt Dickerson as well as several extended family members and a host of friends. Funeral service will be at 10:00am, Friday, December 19, 2014 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Scurry, TX. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the funeral home.
