Jim Dale Jones

Jimmy owned his own business where he worked very hard. He loved to restore cars and the saying was, “if he ever was cut he would bleed oil.” He was very generous and known by everyone in the area. Most of all Jimmy was proud of his family and cherished the time that he got to spend time with each and every one of them.

He is preceded in death by his father, Laymon Jones; mother, Hilda Campbell Jones; children, Dennis Wayne Jones & Jimmy Dale Jones II; grandchildren, Christopher Dean Jones; & siblings, Wanda Gilbreath, Darrell William Jones, Patricia Jones, Sharon Jones, Reba Joanne Whitman, Billy Dewayne Jones, & Gary “Lukie” Jones.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Lou Hennessee Jones; children, Robert L. Jones & wife, Marilyn, John David Jones, Susan Michelle King & husband, Justin, & Mariah Broome & husband, Digger Page; siblings, Laymon Jones Jr. & Larry Dean Jones; grandchildren, Robert Lee Jones II, Taylor Ann Jones, Christopher Keith Byers, Marshall Joseph Byers, Dennis Wayne Jones, Jackson Wayne Broome, & Lillian Rose Broome; great granddaughter, Layla Raquel Jones; & numerous nieces & nephews to cherish his memory.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Terrell, Texas.
