Charles M. Culp, 79, of Wills Point, was born October 25th 1937, in Temple, TX, to William T. and Ola Mae Culp. He passed away peacefully at his home on April 15th, 2017, with family by his side. In November of 1956 he married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Oleta Culp. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force, as a radar computer technician. He enjoyed fishing, flying, boating, cooking, and will always be remembered by his outstanding homemade chili. He is preceded in death by his parents, William T. & Ola Mae Culp; & brothers, Hubert G. Culp and Billy T. Culp. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Oleta Fay Culp; son, Mike Culp and wife, Robyn of Gun Barrel City; daughters, Susan Chapman and husband, J.R., Laura Everett and husband, Marty, both of Mesquite; sister-in-law, Anna Popek and husband, Louis of Duncanville; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy Rose, Justin Culp, Crystal Wells, Jeryn Toops, D.J. Council, Angela Council, Kristen Watson, Courtney Olivarez, Kathryn Morales, & Caitlyn Culp; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 nieces; & 1 nephew to cherish his memory. There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Terrell, Texas. Funeral service will also be at Anderson-Clayton at 12:00 p.m. with interment at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite, Texas immediately following.
