Brenda Joyce Larsen

Brenda was born July 25, 1943 to Richard H. and Juanita F. Bolton in Conroe, Texas. When she was ten the family moved to Garland, Texas. She attended Garland High School where she was an excellent student and a member of the Dashing Debs Drill Team. She met her husband, Ray in May of 1959 and they were married on June 14, 1960. They had two children, Kimberly and Keith. Brenda was a homemaker while her children were growing up, and took care of everything while she encouraged her husband to finish college. After that she went to work at Sanger Harris as a fashion coordinator and remained there for twenty-two years, retiring from Macy’s, she was proud of her home and landscaping and kept both beautiful.

She is survived by her husband, Ray, her two children, Kimberly and son, Cort, Keith and his two children, Lars and Leann. She was a loving and caring wife and mother, devoting her all to her family. She was always there whenever she was needed to do whatever she could to help or protect us. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Terrell, Texas with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Terrell, Texas with interment immediately following at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Rockwall, Texas.
