Walter C. Brooks Jr.

Walter worked at Vigo County School Corporation as a custodian for 25 years. He was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps, a member of the Young Men's Club, and a member of the Eagles 291. He loved cooking, fishing, and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Theodore Brooks.

Walter is survived by his brother, Fred (Ann) Brooks; his children, Chuck (Margaret) Brooks, Daniel M. (Joy) Brooks Sr., and Connie Brooks; his grandchildren, Michael, Katherine, Curtis, Cameron, Catherine, Daniel M. Brooks Jr., John Walter Brooks, David, Amber, Cassidy, and Jayden; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be a visitation Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Roselawn Funeral Home from 11:00am to 1:00pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences can be made at: www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
