He was born on the 25th of December 1944 (the best Christmas present a family could ever have) to Otto Grindle and Mable (Kennedy) Grindle. He attended Otter Creek and graduated from Gerstmeyer High School. He retired from Newport Army Ammunition Plant after 42 years of employment.
Terry enjoyed playing golf and going camping with his brothers. He loved grilling (a Master Chef) for his family and friends. He spent hours watching vintage westerns on TV and special walks with his dog Darby.
Terry is survived by his wife Melinda; daughters Sherri (Shane) Allen and Theresa (Jerry) Daugherty; step-children Michael Blair Jr. and Penny Blair; brother Mike (Sandy) Grindle; sister-in-law Jean Grindle; grandchildren Jennifer (Chez) Wolfe, Kelly Daugherty, Kyle (Alisha) Daugherty, Brittany (Caleb) Jenkins; and great-grandchildren Logan, Austin, Colton, Kyla, Brody, Blaine, Brock, Tanner, and Max. He was Preceded in death by his parents; grandson Bryan Daugherty; and siblings Bernard Grindle, Mae Ferres, Phyllis Clark, and Chuck Grindle.
At Terry's request, there will be no visitation. Terry was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
