Ruth was born on January 17, 1945 in Terre Haute, IN to Herschel R. Jones and Virginia M. (Shaffer) Jones. She was a graduate of Garfield High School, class of 1965.
She is survived by her sister, Janet Hagedorn; brother, Jerry Jones (Shirley); 8 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; and 25 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Ruth was a member of Calvary Temple, The Softball Hall of Fame of Terre Haute, and a life-long member of the VFW 972. She enjoyed her puzzles, watching sports, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Eugene Jones (Anna Della); and her brother-in-law, Ralph Hagedorn Sr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Roselawn Funeral Home from 11 -1pm. A Funeral Ceremony will begin at 1pm, with a graveside to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
