Richard Lee Lindley

Richard Lee Lindley, age 82, of Terre Haute passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. He was born on March 5, 1941 in Fort Wayne to Carl Lindley and Bessie Tahy Lindley. He was a graduate of Carmel High School class of 1959. Richard served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Eli Lilly Clinton Laboratories with 30 years of service. Richard enjoyed bowling, and most importantly spending time with the grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Sonny Martin and David Lindley; and his son, Kenneth Brian Lindley. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Virginia; and two daughters, Jill Parson and husband Chris, and Kathy Alwin and husband Derrick; seven grandchildren, Elysse Cyples and husband Larry, Faith Brewer and husband Sean, Hailee Phillips and husband Anthony, Benjamin Tashnick and wife Madyson, Kenneth Parson and wife Kimber, Brady Parson, and Annabelle Parson; three great-grandchildren, Addison Waggoner, Corissa Brewer and Lincoln Brewer; and a special nephew, Brian Lindley.
