Patricia Marie Higgins

Pattie was born on February 5, 1950 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Hubert and Bertha Herrington. She graduated from Wiley High School with the class of 1967.

After High School, she married the love of her life, Bill Higgins on June 13, 1970. They had two children together and would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this summer.

Pattie spent many years working various jobs in the healthcare field, but she will be remembered most for her years as a Health Assistant for the Vigo County School Corporation.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her favorite things to do were to spend time with her family, her dog, Sadie, and go to the beach.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Susan, and several in-laws.

She is survived by her husband Bill, her son Brent (Amanda), daughter Kara (Keith), and grandchildren Avery, Sloan, Colton, Sawyer, and Ellie.

A visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. with funeral services to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
