Mark B. Bundy, 97, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 18, 1915, in St. Joseph, IL to Claude and Edith (Benham) Bundy. He married Frances Williams on December 22, 1940. Mark served in the United States Army during WWII as a combat soldier in Germany and France. He owned and operated his own semi and worked for many years as an over the road truck driver for Merchants Freight Line and Ryder.
Mark is survived by his wife of 71 years, Frances; their children, Edith Acton and her husband Richard, Mark Bundy and his wife Newt, and Mack Bundy and his wife Jean, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Mark Allen Bundy of North Dakota, Michele Morgan of Terre Haute, Brian Bundy and his wife Autumn of Terre Haute, James Acton and his wife Terri of Bloomington, Angela Owen and her husband Daniel of Chrisman, IL, and Deborah Strange and her husband John of Poseyville, IN; 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11 from 11 until 1 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Brett Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
