He strongly believed in God first, followed by his country and his family. A man of great character and faith, Larry’s commitment to our Lord was unwavering even until his final days. He always found the good in each and every individual, and never spoke ill of anyone. He was a faithful and proud member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and also enjoyed prison ministry.
Larry enjoyed both deep sea and lake fishing, along with camping. He was a passionate advocate for Alcoholics Anonymous and was also a life time member of the Vietnam Veterans of America and the American Legion Post 328.
Larry never met a stranger, and was excellent with remembering names, faces and personalities. His kind, pure and true nature will live on in the hearts of those he touched for generations to come.
