Karen Coleen Rogers

Coleen is survived by her daughters, Sheena Birt and husband, Ezra, of Carmel and Krystal Rogers of Fort Mill, SC; granddaughter, Story Birt of Carmel; brother, Bill Pitts and wife, Angel, of New Goshen; nieces, Amy Akers and family, Ginny (Phil) Kashon and family, and Shawnee (Steve) Leek and family; and nephew, Russ Adkins and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rodney Rogers; and a sister, Diana Adkins.

Coleen was a graduate of West Vigo High School. She worked for 25 years as a supervisor for Spectrum Cable Company. Hard-working, yet easy-going, Coleen enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved to read, visit the beach, and spend time with family and her beloved cat, Evie. A new grandmother, Coleen especially loved doting on her first granddaughter, Story. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose presence will be missed deeply.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in Roselawn Memorial Park following visitation. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
