John Francis (Michael) Hogue, 64, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013, at his residence. John was born August 22, 1949, in Atlanta, Georgia, to William Hogue and Mary VanAsten. John was raised in Miami Florida. He worked as an assistant manager at Greyhound and he liked to hunt, but most of all he loved to fish. He also loved to spend time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife and soul mate Arlouine Hogue, two daughters, Lori Hogue and Michelle Hogue, two sons, Donn Adkins Jr. and Sam Adkins, grandchildren Leila Marshall, Hayden Harrison, Emma Adkins, Deedrah Adkins, Madyson Adkins, Mara Adkins, Mariah Adkins, Jayleigh Adkins, Isaac Adkins, Jazmaine Adkins, and Javin Cooper, a sister, Maryvan Manser, brother William Hogue, and sisters and brothers in-law as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also survived by a special set of sister and brother-in-laws to him, Denna and Bob Baker and niece Tammy Robins.
John was preceded in death by his son Scot Michael Hogue, his parents and his mother-in-law and father-in-law James and Gertrude Denny.
Services are schedule for Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 3:00pm with a visitation from 1:00 until the service time at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. Per his wishes, cremation will follow the services. Online condolences may be left at www.mattoxwood.com.
