John L Goldner

John Larry Goldner, 87, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 in Vermillion Convalescent Center. He was born September 30, 1936 in Clinton to John Woodrow Goldner and Della Ilene Davis Goldner.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Beverly Lloyd Goldner; his daughter, Kimberly Goldner of Terre Haute; two sons, Anthony (Cara) Goldner and Bradley Goldner both of Terre Haute; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Randy ( Debbie) Goldner; a sister in law, Mary Jo Goldner; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father in law, Edward and Hope Lloyd; his twin sister, Joyce (Jack) Stevenson; and two brothers, Mike B. Goldner and Stephen Duff Goldner.

John was of the Methodist Faith; a 1954 graduate of Clinton High School; as a young man he had worked as a lifeguard and was a diver at Aragon Pool; coached North Terre Haute little league and youth football; worked at Anaconda; sold paint at MAB; and Matthews Golf Course.

There will be a private family service followed by entombment at Roselawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
