He was a graduate of Brainerd High School and Moler Barber College. Jack moved to Terre Haute in the 1971 and opened Jack's Barber Shop 25th and 6th Avenue, where he served the community for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Robertson; a step-son Kenny Bennett; eight sisters; one brother; his wife, Rosetta Glen Ramey; and his beloved dog Buddy.
Surviving are his sons, Scott (June Skinner) Ramey, Brian (Katie) Bennett, Brad (Bev Scott) Bennett; daughter-in-laws, Karen Bennett and Debbie McNabb; ten grandchildren, Ryan Bennett, Eric Bennett, Bradley Locke, Brian J.( Loni Girton) Bennett, II , Jacob (Leah) Bennett, Tyler Walden, Rosie Ramey and Lilly Ramey; three great-grandchildren, Cameron Locke, Maddie Walden, Rylen Moore.
Jack will be remembered for his great sense of humor and always had a joke to tell. He always said that he had the Hairiest Job in Town.
Family events were very important in Jack's life, fishing, vacations, going to the Casino; and a great meal at the Coffee Cup.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 1 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
