Doris Valeta Potts

Valeta retired from I.S.U. after 17 years of service in the cafeteria. She was a member of Cross Tabernacle Church and she loved to make quilts for her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons Bill Potts and wife Lois, Ron Potts and his wife Vicki, one daughter Betty Parsley and husband Ken, one sister Martyne Graham and husband Don, fourteen grandchildren, several great grand children and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Valeta was preceded in death by her husband Sherman Potts, one son Clayton "Butch" Potts, two granddaughters, Cathy Potts, Rebecca Tice, grandson David Potts, four brothers and one sister.

Services will be Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Mattox-Wood Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Officiating will be Keith Taylor and burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
