Donald M Reed

Donald Mervin Reed, 79, passed away on August 25, 2020. Donald was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Donald James Reed and Helen Annabelle (Hunt) Reed on October 7, 1940. Donald was married to his loving wife, Virginia Reed, for 57 years.

He is survived by his children, Debbie Clark (Lee), Donald E. Reed, Danny Reed (Yvonne), and Dawn Ann Drake (Bob); brother, Larry Reed (Debbie); 8 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Also survived are several nieces and nephews.

Donald worked for P.S.I. for 35 years before retiring. He enjoyed his days off by going camping and fishing. Donald was a member and previous president of the Good Sam's Camping Club of the Terre Haute Chapter.

He was an avid sports fan. Donald loved to watch the ISU women's basketball team and Terre Haute North boys' basketball team. Donald was known for his pink hair that he wore for the Pizza Hut Classic/First Financial Classic.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; and sisters, Sharon Sigler and Sandy Black.

Services will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 from 11am-1pm at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home in Terre Haute, Indiana. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
