Darrel Ray Howard

Darrel graduated from Otter Creek High School. He worked as a carpenter. He had a lifelong love of horses and owned Darrel Howard Training Stables where he trained and boarded horses. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and a retired member of the Vigo County Sheriffs Mounted Posse.

He enjoyed spending time with his grand-daughters, Gracie and Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Carol (Alter) Howard, daughters, Julie (Howard) Chadwick and Jennifer (Howard) Brackney, granddaughters Gracie Brackney and Taylor Brackney.

Three brothers, Dale (Martha) Howard of Tomball, Texas, Don Howard of Terre Haute, Larry (Peggy) Howard of Avon.

Visitation will be Monday, May 2nd from 5-7PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with services Monday at 7PM at the funeral Home.
