Darin is survived by his wife, Erin (Lynch) Duzan; children, Dallas Duzan and Delaney Duzan; mother, Marilee Duzan; sister, Amy (Clint) House; half-siblings, Mark (Deborah) Yeske, Lisa (Michael) Reed; numerous step-siblings; nieces, Hunter (Trent) House-Myers, Haydyn (Jase Dressler) House, Henley House, Brooke Lynch, and Emma Lynch; nephew, Ethan Lynch; and great nephew, Keelan Dressler.
He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Duzan; step-mother, Edith Duzan; maternal grandparents, Paul and Dorothy Finke; paternal grandparents, Forest and Pearl Duzan; and in-laws, Everett and Ethel Lynch, and brother-in-law, Eric Lynch.
Darin was a 1986 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School and eventually went on to further his education at Lincoln Tech in Indianapolis and Ivy Tech Community College in Terre Haute. Throughout his life, Darin worked for Columbia House, Certain Teed, and Advics as a maintenance technician.
In his free time, Darin was a connoisseur of good coffee, enjoyed watching football, and in recent years, took up smoking meat for his family and friends with his smoker. Darin could always tell you a little bit about everything with his vast knowledge of miscellaneous trivia. One area of expertise being cars, which led to a lifetime spent learning about and working on cars both professionally and at home. Darin is also known for entertaining his family and friends with a dry and witty sense of humor which could make even the most cynical crack a smile. He was also a faithful donor of blood to Versiti.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 20 at Roselawn Funeral Home and from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21. A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Yeske officiating. Darin will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park. Fond memories and sympathy can be expressed through donations to his childrens’ college fund at First Financial Bank in lieu of flowers.
