Cleda Harriett Eble

Cleda is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cleda L. and Dr. Richard Wangelin, of Terre Haute, Indiana, her granddaughter and her husband, Richelle and Andrew Feigin, and two great-grandchildren, Brooke and Evan, all of Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Eble of Terre Haute, Indiana, and her sister, Melba I. Fischer and niece, Lauren I. Martin, both of Belleville, Illinois.

Cleda was born on May 13, 1920, in Belleville, Illinois, to Harry E. and Martha I. Lawrence. She was an accomplished ballroom dance instructor, and instilled that pride and passion to all who learned from her. She loved all animals, especially her dogs, who were certainly thought of as family.

Christian Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 29th at Roselawn Memorial Park, 7500 N. Clinton St., Terre Haute, Indiana. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Cleda’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations, in her name, to the Humane Society, the nation's largest and most effective animal protection organization.
