Chad Neil "Kinky Bobo" Brooks, age 47, of Marshall, Illinois passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was born to John Brooks and Linda Boykin Brooks on February 5, 1977 in Clermont, Florida.
He worked construction jobs and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Chad is survived by his wife, Amanda Brooks; his four children: Neil Brooks, Kartor Brooks, Sadie Brooks, Kiki Brooks; parents John Brooks and Linda Brooks; one sister, Diana Brooks, two brothers, Travis Brooks and Brian Brooks; mother-in-law Sandy Joles; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father-in-law Gene Joles and a niece Sara Bailey.
Visitation will be held Thursday February 15, 2024 from 12PM (EST) to 8PM (EST) at Roselawn Funeral Home. Graveside will be held Friday February 16, 2024 at 1PM (CST) at Marshall Cemetery in Marshall, Illinois.
