He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Cary Leo Rowe Sr. and Nelda (Rose) Rowe on December 19, 1963.
Cary was a graduate of Terre Haute North High school, class of 1982.
He is survived by his mother, Nelda; two daughters: Whitney Leigh Rowe and Samantha Lynn Rowe; one son, Derrick Boyd Rowe; four grandchildren: Jewelynn Rowe, Breanna Mellon, Owen Jones, and Elijah Smith; two sisters: Wendy Goodwin and Lori Rowe-Manuel (Garlan); as well as his nephews, Andrew Steele (Anna), Gage Manuel, and Garrson Manuel.
Cary served as an Army Ranger, as well as in the Navy. He was a member of the DeMolay International.
To his friends and his family, Cary was known for being a “Jack of all Trades”. He loved to tell stories and spend time with his family.
Cary is preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 5pm – 7pm at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. Mattox-Wood Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences can made at www.mattoxwood.com.
