Benny Dewayne Roy

Benny served several years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Bemis after 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Christine, and siblings Kathyrn Tomlin, Sherry Thompson, Carolene Scott and brother in-law Robert Scott.

Survivors include two sons Barry Roy and Chuck Roy, both from Texas. One stepson Erik and one stepdaughter Amy Hutson. Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Benny enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, playing poker and shooting pool with friends. He was a collector of fishing lures.

Benny was loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends as well as the residents and staff at Waters Nursing Home.
