Benjamin Paul Tudor, 40, of Terre Haute, passed away on November 22, 2013. He was born on January 29, 1973, in Danville, IN to Craig and Beth (Nelson) Tudor. He married Tanya Pratt on September 28, 2013, at Maryland Community Church.
Ben graduated from IU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business. Right out of college, he started his 17 year career at Furniture Gallery as an accountant and later transitioned into the role of Store Manager.
Ben was an avid sports fan, especially IU Basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. He also enjoyed racing and you could count on him being in Speedway for the Indy 500 and the Brickyard. Ben was also a food enthusiast, both cooking and eating. His chili was a famous staple amongst friends during the Super Bowl. He enjoyed cooking for his family often. Most of all, Ben cherished his family and the time he spent with them.
Ben is survived by his wife, Tanya Tudor of Terre Haute; children, Jessie Kennedy and Taylor Scott of Terre Haute; his father, Craig Tudor of Hobart; sister, Abby Vaughn and husband Kevin of Wolcottville; brother Andrew Tudor and wife Melissa of New Castle; nephews, Jackson and Spencer Vaughn; maternal grandparents, Earl and Janice Nelson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and parental grandparents, Carolyn and Clinton Tudor.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton Street, Terre Haute. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home with Pastor Vince McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
