The world lost a beloved mother and grandmother, Barbara Jo Bible, on March 11, 2023. Barbara died in the Hospice unit at Union Hospital surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Barbara was born in Terre Haute, IN on September 16, 1940. She had a deep love for her family and animals.
Barbara worked as a registration worker for the vigo county court house.
Barbara is survived by one son, Robert Bible, two daughters: Debra Bible (J.R. Morgan) and Carrie Miller (Justin):, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis E. Bible, and son, Charles Hayes.
Anyone that knew Barbara would say she wore her heart on her sleeve. She had a knack for taking care of others. A true caregiver.
Graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest next her her loving husband.
