William Curtis Starnes, age 95, of Temple, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. William was born in Temple, Texas to Lou Ella and Gilbert Starnes. He grew up and graduated from Temple High School. After High School he joined the Navy serving in WWII and the Korean War. William married Jo Brown in 1946. He worked various jobs in the Temple area and retired as a Supervisor of Communications for DPS. William is preceded in death by his wife Jo Starnes. He is survived by son, Gerry Starnes and daughter, Sandra Carabotta, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
