Wanda Lee Stevens

Services for Mrs. Stevens are going to be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple with Stephen Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Holland Cemetery in Holland.

Wanda was born on August 24, 1938 in Rogers, Texas to Buford and Hattie Williams Breeding. She attended school and graduated from Holland High School. Wanda married Joe Stevens in September of 1956 in the Central Texas area and they were married for almost 43 years until his passing in 1999. Wanda and Joe traveled all over world during his time in the Air Force and all over the state for his profession in hospital administration, including Dublin, Gonzales, and finally Whitney. She was a devoted housewife and mother to her children.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joe, as well as a brother, Billy Allen Breeding.

She is survived by her son Scott Stevens, daughter Vickie Brown, grandsons Adam and Ryan Brown, granddaughters Anne Stevens and Jennifer Stevens Bowser, grandson Zachary Stevens, and great grandson Liam Daniel Brown.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of the arrangements.
