Tom T Boecking

Graveside services for Tom T. Boecking, 94, of Temple will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Bellwood Memorial Park with Dr. Joe Loughlin officiating. Mr. Boecking died Friday at his residence. Mr. Boecking was born January 15, 1923 in Johnson City to Hans Boecking and Carrie Dunheim Boecking. He grew up in Johnson City and graduated from Johnson City High School in May, 1940.  He entered the Army Air Force in 1942 and served 3 ½ years during World War II.  He married Nelda Lenamond on March, 1949 in Uvalde.  He worked for the Soil Conservation Service for 35 years having retired December 31, 1979.  He worked in Kerrville, Uvalde, Corsicana and Temple.  He was a member of First Baptist Church. Mr. Boecking was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.      Survivors include his wife Nelda Boecking of Temple and one daughter Sharion Ruth Caliguiri of Temple. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
