Terry Wells Adams, 81, of Temple passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Temple. Services for Mrs. Adams will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Jack Riley officiating. Burial will follow on Friday at 12:00 PM in Forest Oaks Cemetery in Austin.

Terry was born on February 11, 1933 in Austin to Merle and Helen Wells. She attended school in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1951. She married Billy Joe Adams in Austin, Texas. She worked as a secretary for the Austin Independent School District until her retirement in 1995. Terry enjoyed rowing up and down Town Lake in her spare time. Mrs. Adams moved to Temple in 2007 to be close to her family.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband in 1982.She is survived by her daughter Lisa Sefcik of Belton, Texas, son George Adams of Mesquite, Texas, brother Tom Wells of Columbus, Ohio, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of the arrangements.
