Vera Sue Golden was born on November 7, 1938 in Walters, Oklahoma to the late Woodrow Osa Wilson and Vera Verna Bowers Wilson. She attended schools in Temple, Oklahoma and graduated from Temple High School in Oklahoma in 1956. She married Ronald Joe Golden in Temple, Oklahoma on December 17, 1960. She lived in Duncan and Walters, Oklahoma before moving to Temple, Texas. Sue was an artist and a crafter and also loved water skiing, camping and most outdoor activities. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Belton. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald J. Golden of Morgan’s Point Resort; a daughter, Rhonda Golden Feather and husband Joe of Frisco, Tex.; sons, Brett Golden and wife Georgiana of McKinney, Tex. And Critt Golden and wife Diana of Waxahachie; a sister, Janice Hyatt and husband John of Wichita Falls, Tex.; five grandchildren, Audrey Feather Million, Graham Feather, Taylor Golden, Tyler Golden and Clair Golden; and one great grandchild, Rhett Feather.
