Pinn-Pinn Hsieh Chen, age 82, of Temple, Texas passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023.
Pinn-Pinn was born in Taipei, Taiwan on June 7, 1941. She was the firstborn daughter of Te-Kuei Hsieh and Chen Lu. She graduated from National Taiwan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Botany. She emigrated from Taiwan to Richmond, Virginia where she married Scott H. Chen.
Pinn-Pinn's hobbies included gardening, painting, quilting and sewing. She was a member of the VA Women's Club and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
Pinn-Pinn Chen is survived by her two sons, Spenser Chen and Stanley Chen with his wife Li-Ping Wu, and their two children, Alex and Sophia.
Services are scheduled on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Temple, Texas.
