Peggy Sue Alsup

Services for Peggy Sue Alsup, 60, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Marys Catholic Church in Temple with Fr. Steve Sauser officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Peggy Sue Alsup, 60, died May 18, 2015 at home surrounded by family. Peggy was born June 12, 1954 at Scott & White Hospital to Garetta and James Alsup and graduated from Temple High School in 1972. She dedicated her time to children, opening her own daycare and serving children in the Temple and Troy areas for 34 years. Peggy is survived by a brother, Danny Alsup and wife Mary; sister, Sharon Alsup Goins; three children, Christopher Allen Bryan, RD Flippo Jr. and Lori Beth Flippo; and a stepson, William Todd Flippo; three grandchildren, Cody Wayne Trammell, Garett James Trammell, and Katherine Elizabeth Flippo, and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank all of those who prayed for Peggy and generously shared their time and gifts of food and flowers as well as those who donated their time and money. A special thank you to several family members that provided much needed help and support, Danny & Mary Alsup, Kelli Alsup, Lance & Kim Alsup, Bryce & Courtney Alsup and Brenda Kennedy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School in Temple, Tx.
