Paula Peters

June 4, 1962 - December 22, 2010 Paula Elisabeth Peters of Temple passed away on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at Scott and White hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Services will be Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 6:00pm in the chapel at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home located at 3110 Airport Road, Temple TX. Paula was born June 4th, 1962 in Fort Hood, TX. To Harry and MaryAnn Johns. She was preceded in death by her father. Paula was blessed with a close family. She is survived by her beloved husband, James Peters of Temple; her mother, MaryAnn Malcom of Temple; her father-in-law, Oscar Peters of Harker Heights; one sister, Kerry Solis of Temple; her five brothers, Dewayne Johns of Temple, DeSean Johns of Temple, Michael Johns of Austin and Mark Pierce of Lockhart. Also surviving are her six loving children, Kevin Pitrucha of Temple, Brandy Pitrucha of Belton, Cory Peters and Andrew Peters of Morgan's Point, Ricky Purcell and Matthew Purcell of Temple. She is also survived by the happiness and love of her life, 9 grand children, Matthew, Sabrina, Ares, Nyx, Kavrin, Devin, Royal, Syreinty, and Zagen. They will miss their grandma so very much. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made in Paula's name to the American Cancer Society, so that a cure can be found.
