Norma Loraine Farber

Norma Loraine Farber, age 98, of Temple died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Bellwood Memorial Park with Chaplain Chuck Davis officiating. Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM Thursday, September 13 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mrs. Farber was born July 14, 1909 in Timpson, Texas to Walter Thomas Hughes and Fannie Clifton Hughes. She married Fred A. Farber on February 14, 1940 in Liberty County. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1976. She was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church of Temple and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Wiley and husband, Dan of Moffat, her son, Robert Farber and wife, Anita of Austin, two grandsons, Clay Niemann and wife, Christina of Austin and Chris Farber of Austin and two granddaughters, Amanda Denis and husband, Alain of Cedar Park and Leah Daugard and husband, Cory of Pearland and seven great-grandchildren.
