Miguel Angel Santos

Miguel Angel Santos, age 57 of Temple, died Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00am Tuesday, December 3, 2010 with Rev. Francisco Rodriguez, III officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00pm Monday, December 2, 2019 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00pm.

Mr. Santos was born on October 13, 1962 in Temple, Texas to the late Raymond Santos and Rosa DeLaRosa Santos. He attended Temple schools and graduated from Temple High School in 1981. He was an excellent musician and was 1st chair trumpet in the Jazz Band. He received a nursing degree from McLennan Community College and his Masters of Nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. He was a very compassionate and caring nurse and retired from Cedar Crest Hospital after a 33 year career in nursing. Miguel loved his family dearly and was a generous and giving person. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Augustin Santos.

Survivors include his sisters, Margaret Rivera and husband Ric of Temple and Rosa Maria Bautista and husband David of Temple; brothers, Luis Santos of Temple, Jose Santos of Austin and Juan Santos and wife Lynn of Austin.
