Michelle was a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Temple and worked for Temple ISD and for Temple college as an educator.
Michelle’s love for her children and her grandchildren shone brightest in her garden. It was a special place where laughter and learning bloomed side by side. She could often be found in her garden teaching her grandbabies about seeds, seedlings, plants, vegetables, fruit, vegetables, and being passionate about learning. Her garden is a beautiful testament to her love for her family.
Michelle was an extraordinary cook and prepared countless delicious meals for her family. She would, however, never admit to how wonderful her food tasted. This became a highly cherished running joke amongst her husband and her children. It is tradition to gather around and share laughter surrounding her serving habits. Michelle could be found happily placing plate after plate of her wonderfully prepared food to her loved ones. All the while apologizing for the lack of salt or dryness of perfectly prepared food. We all remember it being second to none and her laughter and her love were the secret ingredients all along.
Michelle was a remarkable and passionate student of history and biblical studies. She was a self-taught historian. Her love and passion and dedication to education was profound.
Her heart was a tapestry woven with love for her family, her pets, her friends, and her faith. Above all, her unwavering faith in the Lord guides her own family in remembrance of her own devotion.
Michelle was second to none. A remarkable Christian, mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. Her unwavering love and faith have left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
