Mary Frances Watkins

Mary Frances Watkins, age 83, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023 in Temple, Texas. She was born on April 17, 1940 in Farmington, New Mexico, the daughter of Kathleen (Martin) and Raeman S. Cole. She married Don Watkins on May 17, 1974.

Frances is survived by her son Gary Don and wife Bethany of Buffalo, Texas, her 2 brothers, Carol Cole and wife Barbara of Salado, Texas, Jessy Cole and wife Jody of Weatherford, Texas, sister, Regina Meeks and husband Jim, of Pittsburg, Texas, her grandsons Cody, Cory, and Casey Davis and great-grandsons Keagan and Kash. She will be forever remembered as a loving aunt by her nieces Jen Daniel, Lesia Whisenhunt, Stacey Cole, and Dusti Meeks and her nephews Heath Cole, Talon Meeks, and Baron Meeks. Frances is also survived by her dear friends Judy and John Melvin.

She was preceded in death by her Son Rodney Lynn Davis, daughter Pamela Dee Davis, husband Don Watkins, a niece Deniece and her parents.

Frances worked for Associated Supply Company in Lubbock for 45 years. After retirement, she moved to Salado, Texas. She was a member of Salado Church of Christ.
