Lily attended the University of the East in Manila and received a Bachelor’s in Business. She ran a family business in the Philippines and ultimately becoming a restaurant owner in Copperas Cove, Texas for several years.
At an early age, she helped her mother take care of her younger siblings. This experience paved her way to becoming one of the greatest moms. She is an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She most especially looked forward to many family gatherings -- the louder the better! She was proud of her heritage and often passed down stories regarding our culture. She also often repeated her mom’s many “sayings”, indicative of her love for her mom. She had an unwavering faith in God, a long time member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church and prayed her rosary daily.
She loved going on countless cruises. For many years, she travelled to many parts of the world with her husband Tomas. Her ageless face, her smile and many soft-spoken words will be missed by all.
There will be a time of visitation with family from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018, with a rosary at 7 p.m. at the Crawford Bowers funeral home in Temple.
