Mary Beth Cooper Argo

She was born on September 8, 1929, in Bertram, TX to Oliver and Bobbie Cooper. Graduated from Bertram High School in 1947 and went on to Nixon Clay College in Austin. Her hobbies included search word puzzles and watching forensic files. She was a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church Apostolic.

Survived by sister E. Ruth Cooper of Belton, TX, children Nancy Holley of Belton, TX and Debbie Breault and husband Dennis Breault of Katy, TX, grandchildren Christen Brown and husband Robert Brown of Pasadena, TX, Angela Bates and husband Trampus Bates of Spring, TX, Cassi Patrick and husband Carter Patrick of Katy, TX, and Evan “Jazz” Duarte of Katy, TX, great-grandchildren Jack, Taylor and Elizabeth Draper of Pasadena, TX, Domonik “Nik” and Lukas Bates of Spring, TX, Bethani Patrick of Katy, TX, nieces Helen Waguespack and family, Judy Ilton and family, brother-in-law Mitchell Campbell of Belton, TX.

Predeceased by parents Oliver and Bobbie Cooper of Houston, TX, sister Nancy Campbell of Belton, TX and Baby Argo of Beaumont, TX.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011, 11AM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home and will be officiated by Rev. Jesse Ratliff. Pallbearers will be Evan “Jazz” Duarte, John Collins, Trampus Bates, Robert Brown, Carter Patrick, and Dennis Breault. Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 from 5-7PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Bellwood Memorial Park, 8575 Airport Road, Temple, TX 76502. Her favorite scripture was: John 11:35, “Jesus Wept”. As we end this remembrance she would say “Well, la di di da”
