I was lucky enough to be his nephew. Growing up he ended up babysitting me quite often I'm sure.  I remember when he came home from school when I was still very young, he had 2 blue lines in the side of his head. I recall him working for Christian auto in Marlin, working at the Walmart in Marlin and Temple. I always enjoyed seeing him at work in Temple,  I would be so happy to see him. 

For my aunt and cousins...be strong and know he loved you all so much. Carry forward with the light he had when he spoke of you. 

I remember one of the first times I met Jacque and how they just fit. How proud he was when he introduced Taylor to me as a baby. And how proud he was to introduce me to Sage as a baby. 

I will miss him everyday and I am grateful to have the memories I will carry with me. 



Jackie our thoughts and prayers are with you all we are so very sorry for your loss. Mark was such a great guy and a good friend he will be very missed. 

Mark was always fun to be around. He was a great athlete to play baseball and basketball with growing up in Marlin as kids. My condolences to the Ward family, Mark will truly be missed. God bless

Mark had a very kind heart. I don’t remember a time that I saw him -from kindergarten age on - that he wasn’t smiling.
