Luis Gonzalez Diaz left this earthly realm after a battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his amazing immediate family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorlores Diaz and Anastacio Gonzalez Ramirez, and several of his siblings, Teresa, Agaita, Isac, Juan, Catalina, Lucha, which he loved very much. As a young child he learned to survive through grit and determination, and the love of his siblings. And even though he suffered many difficult trials during that time he avoided any kind of hatred towards the people who hurt or wronged him. It was this grit and determination that made it difficult for him to leave this world and gave us extra time to love and care for him. He spoke a million miles an hour and was perpetually frustrated that NO ONE could understand him. Him and his wife, Concepcion, worked together to create a family and a life in a new place. They were able to retire early at which point he drove his family mad because he had a difficult time adjusting to his newfound freedom. As luck would have it, he was blessed with grand kids about this time that helped him fill his days. He was a caring and loving grandfather to 7 grand kids, Antonio, Adrean, Kale, Isa, Cole, Noah, and Roberto. Even though we cannot prove that he had his favorite(s), he was constantly going out of his way to care for all of them. He would walk them around for hours, taxied them to and from school, and was regularly taking them out to get something to eat. He loved all kinds of sweets and was forever going back and forth on whether or not he could find room for one more treat. He usually found room. He loved his whole family as much as he loved sweets (or almost as much) and enjoyed any time he got to spend with them. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Concepcion, daughters, Veronica, Pricela, and Azucena, sons-in-law, Chad, and Evan, along with his grandkids and surviving family members.
