Funeral services for Karen Sue Meadows, 62, of Westphalia will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Pat Dietrich officiating. Burial will be at Burlington Cemetery. Mrs. Meadows died suddenly Saturday at her residence. Mrs. Meadows was born July 24, 1952 to Oskar Kaulfus and Hattie Lierman Kaulfus. She graduated from Temple High School in 1970. She worked at the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System for 27 years, preceded by 17 years at Scott and White Hospital. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. She was born in Rosebud, raised in Temple, and lived in Westphalia a majority of her adult life. Mrs. Meadows was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandma. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren as much as possible. Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include Harold Ranly of Westphalia, one son Drew Meadows and his wife Michelle of Westphalia; two daughters Susan Webb and her husband Jerry of Bryan and Kimberly Montez and her husband Jimmy of Fort Worth and ten grandchildren Campbell, McKenna and Owen Webb, Mason, Kendall, Gavin and Grayson Montez, Hayley, Hanna and Hattie Meadows; one sister Kay Gossett of Morgan's Point and Patrick Meadows of Westphalia. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
